Under the management of the Site Supply Chain Manager, the Production Scheduler will be responsible for the implementation of the plan developed by the OPR planners. This position will work closely with the OPR planner as well as the operations department to adjust the schedule to the latest production status. Additionally, the Production Scheduler will participate in key initiatives and projects to support continuous improvement. The role is offered on a Fixed-Term Contract of up to 18 months as maternity leave cover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and manage a liquid production schedule for the frozen horizon, balancing customer orders with internal liquid production requirements to support moulding line operations.
- Ensure the production schedule is developed in line with tank capacity constraints and positive release timings.
- Collaborate daily with manufacturing, Transport, Quality and Raw materials to ensure the production schedule runs smoothly and issues can be addressed promptly.
- Collaborate with OPR planners on reactive horizon to resolve conflicts on volumes.
- Manage customer order changes both short and long term and adjust the production schedule accordingly to minimise disruption.
- Issue the daily production schedule to raw materials planning and manufacturing teams to enable material preparation and execution of the production plan.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan and schedule liquid trials within the production plan.
- Collaborate with projects and maintenance teams to plan scheduled downtime, minimising disruption to customer deliveries.
- Follow-up & lead Adherence to Schedule KPI discussions.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably within Business or Engineering field.
- Fluent English required.
- Min. 3 years’ experience in supply planning.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, specifically the integrated supply planning process.
- Good understanding of the other supply planning processes focused on distribution requirements planning, raw materials planning, and scheduling.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Previous experience with SAP, OMP and Business Objects.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong time management, negotiations skills with a can-do attitude.
- Holistic approach to decision making, taking into account multiple factors and stakeholder.
