The Operator 1, Machine Liquid position is responsible for preparing and arranging materials, melting cocoa butter, dumping cocoa powders, cleaning and any other duties as requested by the supervisor.

SHIFT HOURS: Wednesday 1:00pm - 7:15pm and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7:00am - 7:15pm.

Responsibilities

  • Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements.
  • Prepare raw materials including melting cocoa butter, pumping oils, lecithin and dumping cocoa powders.
  • Clean magnets and document HACCP.
  • Cross‑train to perform functions of Level 2 Line Operator.
  • Complete any additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.
  • Additional duties may be assigned from time to time; the scope of the job may change as business demands necessitate.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Math skills required.
  • One year of manufacturing experience, a plus.
  • Ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods, bend, squat, stretch, reach, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work at heights.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures within the facility.
  • Must be able to work in a facility where noise levels can exceed 0.85 decibels.
