The Operator 1, Machine Liquid position is responsible for preparing and arranging materials, melting cocoa butter, dumping cocoa powders, cleaning and any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
SHIFT HOURS: Sunday Monday and Tuesday 7:00am - 7:15pm and Wednesday 7:00am - 1:15pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Prepare raw materials including melting cocoa butter, pumping oils, lecithin and dumping cocoa powders.
- Clean magnets and document HACCP.
- Cross train to perform functions of Level 2 Line Operator.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with ability to follow both written and oral instructions.
- Math skills required.
- One (1) year manufacturing experience, a plus.
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time.
- Bend, squat, stretch and reach frequently.
- Ability to climb stairs, often.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, often.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility.
- Noise level can exceed 0.85 decibels.
