DESIGN MANAGER – MILTON KEYNES 💰 £70,000+ + package 📍 Office-based – Milton Keynes 🏗️ Main Contracting I’m currently working with an established main contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Design Manager into the team. This is a great opportunity for a Design Manager who wants to join a growing business and play a key role across their projects, working closely with the wider pre-construction, commercial and operational teams. The role: • Managing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery • Coordinating consultants, subcontractors and design teams • Reviewing and managing design programmes • Ensuring designs are coordinated, compliant and delivered to programme • Working closely with the Project / Construction teams • Managing design risk and identifying issues early • Attending design meetings and liaising with clients and consultants What they’re looking for: • Proven experience as a Design Manager within main contracting • Strong technical/design coordination background • Good understanding of the construction process • Confident managing consultants and subcontractor design teams • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Industrial experience isn't essential – experience across other sectors within main contracting is absolutely welcomed Salary: £70,000+ depending on experience, plus package.
