We are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a well-established and growing construction business delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong technical background who can manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring designs are coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full design process across construction projects
- Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Reviewing and managing design information to ensure buildability and compliance
- Identifying and resolving design risks and clashes
- Supporting pre-construction and tender stages
- Ensuring projects meet programme, budget, and quality requirements
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods and technical detailing
- Experience working on commercial and/or residential projects
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with site and commercial teams
- Must be based locally or willing to travel regularly to the company’s office/projects in Corby
