As a leading supplier of market‑leading outdoor, garden and leisure products, partnering with independent retailers, garden centres and buying groups across the UK, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Field Sales Manager to lead our national team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Agents.

As Field Sales Manager, you will play a key role in shaping sales strategy, driving performance and ensuring we continue to provide exceptional support to our customers across the UK.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a field‑based sales team while ensuring the delivery of sales, margin and profitability targets.

You will work closely with key customers, support business growth initiatives and provide leadership that drives high standards of performance across all territories.

This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership and regular field engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a national team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Agents.
  • Deliver sales, margin and profitability targets across the Outdoor Division.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Drive new business opportunities and maximise growth within existing accounts.
  • Support product launches, promotional activity and seasonal sales campaigns.
  • Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Services, Supply Chain and Operations to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Foster a high‑performance, accountable and customer‑focused sales culture.
