A warm and welcoming place to work, in a fantastic and beautiful rural setting. We are seeking a dedicated student to support the school primarily with Strength and Conditioning work for our elite sports programme. We are a day/boarding co-educational school with a deep history and strong sporting heritage.

The placement role will be primarily to work with our EPP+ (Elite Performance Pathway) pupils which consists of sports scholars plus A team/1st XI pupils for that season. Additionally, the successful student will have the opportunity to coach the sports teams during our Games programme. Our core sports are:

  • Girls – Hockey, Netball, Football and Cricket
  • Boys – Football, Hockey, Cricket

The hours of work will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-5.30pm. Additionally, an average of 3 hours on most Saturdays will be required to support with the fixture programme (coaching and/or refereeing/umpiring sides). Wednesday will be kept free in order for the student to participate in BUCS fixtures, should they wish to do so.

Please note that this is an unpaid position, however the role comes with free on-site accommodation which covers bills as well as all meals in the dining hall during term time. We also offer free use of our gym, swimming pool and sports facilities. The school has great transport links with a line into Waterloo and into Portsmouth (which serves our local station Witley, as well as Guildford, Woking and Haslemere).
