You will work closely with the Finance Director and you will be expected to deputise for the FD when required in SLT meetings and in working with Group colleagues. Put simply, this is a great opportunity to join a company that cares about its people and how they work together, providing fulfilling roles in producing essential medicines every day.

Key Deliverables:

  • Provide the site leadership team with high quality management information and reports to inform key decisions (including capital investment, OPEX, CI initiatives, R&D and MS&T trials & NPL)
  • Review, revise and maintain excellent financial systems and processes (SAP)
  • Co-ordinate functional input to ensure the timely submission of the Annual Operating Plan (Budget)
  • Ensure compliance in the monthly accounting process, in accordance with the Group financial timetable
  • Provide financial input for key operational functions (distribution, product costing, stock valuations etc.)
  • Provide effective support in producing ad hoc reports relating to Projects and Corporate requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • A qualified manufacturing finance professional (ideally CIMA with pharma manufacturing experience)
  • Experience of producing relevant reports in MNCs, i.e. product manufacturing for international markets
  • Commercial and focused, can liaise effectively with colleagues across all functions and management levels
  • Will be an effective Finance #2 who builds effective relationships, able to deputise effectively for the FD
  • Experience of activity-based costing, project accounting and other manufacturing-related reporting (SAP)
