About the Role

We are working with a internationally recognised manufacturer and market leader within the dental imaging sector currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager.

This field-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing new business, building strong distributor relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will take ownership of a key territory covering Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the North of England, while supporting opportunities across the UK when required.

You'll play a pivotal role in growing market share, expanding the sales pipeline, and establishing a strong regional presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributor partners, providing ongoing product and sales training.
  • Conduct joint customer visits, product demonstrations, presentations, and equipment evaluations.
  • Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful completion, including tender and procurement processes.
  • Deliver customer onboarding and user training to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Operations teams to maximise business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and gather market intelligence to support business strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and performance reporting.

During your first 12 months, you will

  • Increase revenue and market share across the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
  • Strengthen distributor capability through structured coaching, training, and joint sales activity.
  • Establish a strong regional presence in Scotland while expanding opportunities across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the North of England.
  • Implement scalable territory management processes and account development plans.
  • 3–5 years' successful field sales experience (medical, dental, healthcare, or capital equipment preferred).
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing distributors or channel partners.
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, and training skills.
  • Confident communicating with both clinical and executive-level customers.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the territory.
  • Knowledge of dental imaging technologies such as CBCT, panoramic, or intraoral systems.
  • Experience launching or developing a new sales territory.
  • Familiarity with the UK and Ireland dental dealer network.
