My client is hiring for an experienced and commercially minded Strategic Access Manager to help shape access for innovative medicines across the Midlands region. This is a key field-based role focused on engaging non-clinical stakeholders, supporting market access strategy, and driving local implementation across priority accounts.
In this role, you will work across regional and national healthcare systems to support access, funding, and uptake of products through effective stakeholder engagement, business case development, and strategic account planning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, marketing, and medical colleagues to identify opportunities, overcome barriers, and deliver on business objectives.
Key focus areas of the role:
- Build and manage relationships with key non-clinical stakeholders across the healthcare system.
- Support the development and implementation of business cases and formulary submissions.
- Use clinical, economic, and budget impact evidence to influence access decisions.
- Develop account plans for priority regions and complex healthcare economies.
- Monitor policy and system changes that may affect commercial opportunities.
- Share market access insight and best practice with internal stakeholders.
- Work in line with all relevant compliance and industry codes of practice.
