I am currently working with a very exciting and fast-growing biotech developing next-generation gene therapies. This is an opportunity to build a laboratory from the ground up while managing preclinical CRO partnerships and helping shape the company's scientific operations.

This is one of those rare Rockstar led style companies where you're going to be part of genuine innovation, bleeding-edge science and a team with rocket fuel potential! This is an early stage management career so will not be suitable for Director or Exec level candidates.

Key Requirements
  • Fluent Mandarin and English
  • MSc or PhD in a Life Science discipline
  • 3-5+ years' laboratory operations experience within biotech
  • Experience managing CROs and external research partners
  • Knowledge of gene therapy, gene editing or advanced therapeutics
  • Experience building or scaling laboratory operations
The Role
  • Build and manage my clients new London laboratory
  • Lead lab operations, procurement, inventory and BSL-2 compliance
  • Manage China-based CRO relationships across preclinical studies
  • Coordinate vendors, budgets, logistics and study delivery
  • Ensure outsourced studies are delivered on time and to a high standard
