We are seeking a Site Services Technician to support the operational running of a regulated research facility. This role is essential in maintaining site operations, logistics, and compliance within a controlled research environment that supports biomedical and pharmaceutical development. Working as part of the site services team, you will help ensure that facilities operate efficiently while meeting strict health, safety, and regulatory standards. The position works closely with operational teams across multiple areas of the site to support day-to-day activities and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles collecting or delivering site waste
- Managing waste streams and ensuring materials are handled and disposed of correctly
- Supporting warehouse operations including goods intake, stock control, and inventory management
- Following cleaning schedules and operational procedures
- Conducting routine checks across site services areas and recording results in line with procedures
- Coordinating with suppliers and contractors delivering or collecting materials
- Reporting faulty equipment and coordinating repairs where required
- Safely operating forklifts or other equipment where certified
- Maintaining accurate records for compliance, audits, and operational tracking
