The Role:
As our Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll across our UK and international offices. You’ll handle complex payroll structures, including commissions and sales-based pay, typical in the recruitment industry. This role offers exciting challenges as you:
- Manage payroll for multiple offices across various regions, ensuring precision and timeliness in every payroll cycle.
- Collaborate with third-party payroll providers in key regions like the US, ensuring adherence to local payroll laws and regulations.
- Administer payroll components such as 401k, 1099 classifications, and healthcare benefits for our US-based staff.
- Work closely with our finance and management accounting teams, optimizing payroll processes and ensuring clear, streamlined communication across the business.
- Maintain a sharp eye for detail, ensuring that all payroll operations meet stringent deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- As we grow, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a Payroll Assistant to support our expanding payroll function.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in payroll management within the recruitment industry, with strong knowledge of sales-based compensation (including commissions).
- A solid track record managing payroll for a multinational company across multiple entities and regions.
- Expert knowledge of US payroll systems, including 401k, 1099 classifications, and healthcare benefits administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in various locations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, reliable approach to managing payroll functions, with a constant drive for improvement and efficiency.
