As an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between science and clinical practice. You will serve as a scientific expert and key point of contact for healthcare professionals, researchers, and internal teams, providing high-level medical insights and supporting the development and dissemination of scientific information. Your primary focus will be to engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), provide educational support, and contribute to the successful execution of clinical trials and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scientific Support & Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions across Switzerland.
  • Medical Education: Provide scientific expertise and education regarding the company's products, clinical data, and therapeutic areas, ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and evidence-based information is shared.
  • Clinical Trial Support: Support the design, execution, and follow-up of clinical trials, including site identification, patient recruitment, and the collection of clinical data.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing) to provide insights and scientific expertise.
  • Medical Information: Provide and respond to scientific inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and the latest clinical research to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities are in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in Life Sciences (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD).
  • Therapeutic Area Knowledge: Strong knowledge of current therapeutic area.
  • Scientific Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret clinical data and provide actionable insights.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and at least one local Swiss language (German, French, or Italian).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally as required.
