Animal Technician
Working as part of an experienced animal care team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day husbandry and welfare of mouse colonies, ensuring the highest standards of animal care are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities
Carry out the daily husbandry and care of mouse colonies.
Monitor animal health and welfare, reporting any concerns promptly.
Maintain clean, organised and compliant animal housing areas.
Perform routine cage changing, feeding, watering and environmental checks.
Accurately complete husbandry and facility records.
Support the maintenance of high standards of cleanliness, biosecurity and animal welfare throughout the facility.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the animal unit.
Follow all company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
About You
Previous hands-on experience working with mice is essential.
Experience within an animal facility or animal technician environment is highly desirable, although candidates with relevant mouse handling experience from other settings will also be considered.
