I am currently working exclusively with a London based biotech who have developed advanced instrumentation to analyse nanoparticles at the single particle level. With their platform already being used across leading academic and industry labs in Europe and North America, supporting work in areas like drug delivery and nano-formulations. As the business grows, operations are becoming more complex and more critical. This role sits at the centre of that.
I'm looking for someone who can bring structure to a fast moving environment. You’ll take ownership of day to day operations and global logistics making sure equipment, consumables, and internal processes run smoothly as the company scales. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, acting as the operational backbone of the business. This is not a passive coordination role. You’ll need to be hands on, organised, and comfortable figuring things out as you go.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Logistics & Delivery
- Managing shipments, deliveries, and returns across international locations
- Working with logistics partners to ensure timely and reliable distribution
- Operational Support
- Keeping day to day business operations running smoothly
- Supporting onboarding and ensuring new hires have what they need
- Managing procurement of equipment, tools, and systems
- Financial & Compliance
- Tracking spend and supporting basic budget oversight
- Assisting with contracts, compliance, and operational documentation
- Communication & Reporting
- Providing clear operational updates to leadership
- Acting as a connector between teams to keep things aligned
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong organisational skills you can manage multiple moving parts without dropping things
- Familiarity with international shipping and customs
- Basic understanding of financial tracking and compliance
- Clear communicator who works well across teams
- Comfortable in a start up environment (ambiguity, pace, ownership)
Nice to Have (Not Essential):
- Experience in life sciences, biotech, or technical environments
