This is a specialist role focused on delivering expert haematopathology services while contributing to cutting‑edge work in molecular diagnostics, biomarker discovery, and translational research.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert diagnostic reporting in haematopathology, including bone marrow, lymph node, and peripheral blood specimens.
- Integrate morphology with immunophenotyping, cytogenetics, and molecular findings to deliver comprehensive diagnoses.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including haematologists, oncologists, and research scientists.
- Support and lead involvement in clinical trials, including diagnostic input and translational components.

Qualifications
- Primary medical degree (MB BCh or equivalent)

- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath or equivalent)
Experience
- Extensive diagnostic experience in haematopathology, including lymphoid and myeloid disorders.
