Hours: 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday We’re currently supporting a research organisation looking for a Laboratory Support Technician to join their animal unit on a 3-month contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hands-on and eager to learn, working within the cage cleaning rooms of a busy animal research facility.
What are we looking for?
Previous cage wash experience is not essential A willingness to learn and follow established procedures Reliable and comfortable with hands-on, repetitive work Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Ability to work effectively as part of a team Experience working within an animal facility or laboratory environment would be advantageous Autoclave experience would be a bonus The role You will work within the cage cleaning rooms of the unit, supporting the cleaning, preparation and processing of cages and associated equipment.
The role is important in maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised environment for the animal facility.
Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within a research or animal facility environment.
