We are supporting a well‑established organisation in the recruitment of an HR Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, handling day‑to‑day HR matters, and ensuring the business remains compliant with employment legislation and best practice. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors, providing practical HR support while helping to maintain and develop robust people processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations and onsite HR matters
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance‑related processes
  • Liaise with legal advisors on employment law matters and complex HR cases
  • Monitor and implement changes in employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and documentation remain compliant and up to date
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing employee relations matters and providing practical HR advice
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • CIPD qualification or working towards qualification would be advantageous
