We are supporting a rapidly growing surgical technology organisation that is redefining how surgeons identify critical anatomy during procedures. Backed by years of successful commercialisation internationally and significant investment into its European Growth Strategy, the company is building its UK/EU Clinical Specialist team. This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of growth, working with innovative technology that is helping surgeons make more informed decisions in real time and supporting improved patient outcomes.

The Opportunity: As a Clinical Specialist, you will be the clinical and procedural expert for the technology, supporting surgeons and theatre teams throughout the evaluation, pilot, and adoption process. This is a hands-on operating room role where you'll spend significant time supporting live cases, demonstrating the technology and delivering clinical education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring effective utilisation of the technology and acting as a trusted clinical resource for surgeons and theatre teams.
  • Conduct regular surgical visitations to support customers, build clinical relationships, and identify opportunities for further adoption.
  • Lead and deliver product demonstrations to surgeons, theatre staff, and key hospital stakeholders.
  • Deliver clinical education and training sessions for surgeons, nurses, ODPs, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support first cases, pilot cases, demos - ready for commercial launch.
  • Build strong relationships with key surgeons, theatre managers, and clinical stakeholders.

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist, Surgical Support Specialist or an Applications Specialist.
  • Experience supporting surgical procedures within the operating room environment.
  • Experience supporting colorectal procedures is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with a background in colorectal, soft-tissue robotics, AI/AR/VR minimally invasive surgery.
