This is an opportunity to work with a next generation pharmatech company designing fast innovative drug candidates for critical diseases. This company has already delivered several drug discovery successes through various collaborations with pharmaceutical companies.
We are looking for a candidate with a variety of expertise surrounding machine learning, project management, computational chemistry and software development. Within this role, you will be responsible for selecting, designing, optimising molecules for synthesis in a multitude of drug discovery programs guided by data-driven hypotheses. Your involvement will be covering the entirety of the project lifecycles, from nomination to pre-clinical, working alongside a dynamic team environment.
It is crucial to the success within this role to offer systemic feedback driving continuous improvement for cheminformatics infrastructures and algorithm implementation.
Expected Skills:
- Familiarity with standard Computational Chemistry/ Cheminformatic packages
- Computational workflows (virtual screening, compound library design)
- Experience improving internal cheminformatic infrastructures
- Cross functional working environment experience, working with machine learning/ AI engineers, computational and medicinal chemists
