Job Type: Full Time

Location: Hemel Hempstead (Office-based role: 5 days per week on-site)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30 (1 hour lunch break). Total working hours: 37.5 hours/week. Note: Flexible start between 08:30 to 10:00; end time after 16:00 in line with company policy.

Start Date: Immediate start preferred.

The Role

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and skilled professional with experience in account management and business development ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. The primary focus of this role is to grow and strengthen external relationships, driving revenue by uncovering and developing new commercial opportunities. Working closely with senior management, you’ll become a key part of our collaborative team, playing an essential role in our continued growth and success. Operating on an international scale, you’ll manage 4 to 5 existing accounts, becoming an expert in these markets and helping to expand our business footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to unlock growth opportunities
  • Closely manage various financial elements of the business
  • Develop partnerships with stakeholders to enhance product sales positioning
  • Managing our client’s brand, including strategic planning and market penetration
  • Maintaining in-depth market knowledge, including competitor analysis and business plans
  • Achieving sales and profit targets, reviewing monthly
  • Creating action plans to meet targets and increase revenue
  • Attending conferences for collaborations and partner relationships
  • Identifying leads and exploring new markets for expansion
  • Negotiating and executing contracts with accounts
  • Assisting with ad hoc business projects as needed
  • Collaborating with regulatory, marketing, and logistics teams

Requirements

  • Degree holder in science, business or finance
  • Account management, business development or finance experience
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ideally have proficiency in Mandarin language
  • Team player with commercial mindset, aiming for business growth
  • Demonstrated commercial and customer-focused experience
  • Strong problem-solving and action-oriented approach
