Senior Research Scientist – Real-World Evidence & Evidence Synthesis

Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Research Scientist to join a consultancy’s Real-World Evidence (RWE) team. This is a remote, hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality evidence synthesis projects, with a strong emphasis on indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs). The role involves technical delivery, client interaction, and mentoring of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of evidence synthesis projects (SLRs, NMA, MAIC, STC)
- Develop protocols, analysis plans, reports, and client-ready presentations
- Manage client communication and lead study discussions
- Mentor junior researchers and support internal knowledge sharing
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and proposal development
Requirements
Essential:
- 5+ years’ experience in HEOR, RWE, or evidence synthesis
- Proven expertise in ITCs (NMA, MAIC, STC)
- Experience in a consultancy or service provider
- Involvement in HTA submissions (e.g. NICE or EU equivalents)
- Strong communication and delivery skills
Desirable :
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Proficiency in R, WinBUGS, or related tools
- Broad therapeutic area experience
