Senior Research Scientist – Real-World Evidence & Evidence Synthesis

Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Research Scientist to join a consultancy’s Real-World Evidence (RWE) team. This is a remote, hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality evidence synthesis projects, with a strong emphasis on indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs). The role involves technical delivery, client interaction, and mentoring of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of evidence synthesis projects (SLRs, NMA, MAIC, STC)
  • Develop protocols, analysis plans, reports, and client-ready presentations
  • Manage client communication and lead study discussions
  • Mentor junior researchers and support internal knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to project planning, timelines, and proposal development

Requirements

Essential:

  • 5+ years’ experience in HEOR, RWE, or evidence synthesis
  • Proven expertise in ITCs (NMA, MAIC, STC)
  • Experience in a consultancy or service provider
  • Involvement in HTA submissions (e.g. NICE or EU equivalents)
  • Strong communication and delivery skills

Desirable :

  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Proficiency in R, WinBUGS, or related tools
  • Broad therapeutic area experience
