We are looking for a Junior RWE Statistician/Statistical Programmer to join a dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional with a passion for Real-World Evidence (RWE) and biostatistics to contribute to meaningful healthcare research. As a key member of our analytics team, you will work closely with statisticians, epidemiologists, and data scientists to analyze large real-world datasets and generate insights that support healthcare decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, execution, and interpretation of real-world evidence studies, including observational research and health outcomes analyses.
- Perform statistical programming and data analysis using SAS.
- Support the development of statistical methodologies and study protocols.
- Conduct data cleaning, transformation, and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, data scientists, and regulatory experts.
- Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and reports.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
- Experience or coursework in real-world data analysis (e.g., claims data, electronic health records, registries).
- Proficiency in SAS for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of biostatistics, epidemiological methods, and study designs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare industry projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for RWE studies (e.g., EMA, FDA).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for healthcare analytics.
