Location: Manchester Area, UK
I'm working with a growing pharmaceutical development services business to find a senior Clinical Pharmacologist to lead and expand their CP function. This is a high-impact role at the centre of that growth, with full oversight of project delivery, team leadership, and client relationships.
What you'll do:
- Lead and mentor a strong team of senior and principal scientists
- Oversee and deliver CP projects end-to-end, from study design through to reporting
- Serve as the primary client interface: building relationships, presenting data, and driving repeat business
- Represent the function externally: conferences, business development support, and scientific advisory
- Collaborate closely with c-suite
- Help shape the scientific and commercial strategy as the business scales
What we're looking for:
- Strong foundation in clinical pharmacology either pure CP or CP with modelling/simulation background
- Proven leadership: experience managing and developing experienced scientists is essential
- Exceptional communicator in a client meeting or conference hall as in a project review
- Broad modality exposure welcomed: small molecule, mAbs, ADCs
- Background in pharma or a service/CRO environment both considered
- Driven to grow personally and organisationally
Candidates must be located locally or willing to relocate. The role requires 3–4 days per week on-site.
