An established Contract Research Organisation is seeking a talented professional to join its expanding Pathology Sciences team. The Role

  • Providing expert input across a range of non-clinical safety studies, taking ownership of pathology-related activities and ensuring the highest standards of scientific delivery.
  • Advising on anatomic and clinical pathology requirements within study protocols.
  • Supervising necropsies, ensuring accurate dissection, sampling, and recording of findings.
  • Conducting detailed microscopic evaluations and correlating data across pathology endpoints.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Supporting, mentoring, and peer-reviewing pathologists in training.

About You

  • FRCPath or Diplomate of ACVP/ECVP (essential).
  • Veterinary degree (DVM, VMD, BVM&S, BVSc or equivalent).
  • Experience in toxicologic or laboratory animal pathology.
  • Strong expertise in toxicity study evaluation and peer review is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with digital pathology (advantageous).
  • MSc or PhD.
