We have several temporary opportunities available for approximately 3 months, with potential extension depending on business needs and performance. We are looking for flexible, adaptable individuals who learn quickly and take pride in producing high-quality work. Experience in knitwear or textile manufacturing is highly desirable, but we will also consider candidates with strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to be trained.
What will you be doing?
- Finishing – Brush and Pick
- Operating brushing machines or hand tools to raise fibres and improve fabric texture
- Removing loose fibres, lint, and surface imperfections
- Inspecting garments for defects such as loose threads, snags, or knots
- Cutting or removing excess threads and preparing garments for final stages
- Ensuring garments meet strict quality and presentation standards
- Supporting production tasks (as required)
- Trimming excess threads from knitted garments
- Assisting with button attachment using industrial sewing equipment
- Ensuring correct placement, alignment, and thread matching for buttons
- Checking garments for overall finish and quality compliance
What will you bring to the role?
- Experience in knitwear or textiles manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- High attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
