Who are we looking for?
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a committed and versatile individual, either experienced or with the right attitude to develop as a trainee, to join us as a Multi‑Skilled Knitting, Press & Wash Operator. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn and contribute across multiple areas of the production process. You will play a key role in supporting our finishing and production teams by operating across knitting, pressing and washing functions as required. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to move between departments to meet production demands and ensure consistent, high‑quality output. The successful candidate will become a valued and agile member of our wider production team.

What will you be doing in the role?
- Operate and support across knitting, pressing and washing processes as required.
- Knitting: manage multiple Shima Seikh systems simultaneously ensuring continuous production.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain machinery within each area, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
- Carry out textile washing processes, selecting appropriate cycles, detergents, and settings based on garment requirements.
- Perform pressing and finishing of garments to meet high‑quality standards using Hoffman press.
- Assist with knitting operations, including machine handling and basic adjustments where trained.
- Conduct quality checks at each stage of the process to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic troubleshooting or report issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to meet production deadlines.
- Demonstrate flexibility by moving between departments and tasks to support business needs.
