Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire WR9
Hours of work: 9 hours per week – Days & times to be discussed.
Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour
Job purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer
Our client is a female in her 50’s that lives with her Husband in the Droitwich area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 9 hours per week.
Our client has held a myriad of professional jobs and remains very sharp witted and lively in mind. Her disability is physical, and therefore she has challenges with mobility. She has a sensitivity to crowds, noise and lighting and therefore prefers quiet nature over artificial environments as she lacks confidence here due to the unpredictability of her condition. Her support will need flexibility to accommodate her changing needs.
Main duties
- Social duties: Help engaging in the local community.
- Social duties: Accompanying to medical appointments.
- Personal care: Some support with personal care for lower limbs will be required.
- Domestic duties: Help with large household tasks including food preparation and batch cookery.
- These duties may vary from day-to-day.

- Values someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel and understands equality and diversity.
- Specific requirements: Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle. Must have previous care/support work experience. Non-smoker is a must.

- Full clean UK Driving Licence
- Car and appropriate insurance
