Job Title: Female Personal Care Assistant

Location: Parkfields, Wolverhampton WV4
Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour.
Nature of the job role: I am looking for a Female Personal Care Assistant with similar interests to my own to work with me both at home and out and about.
If interviewed and offered a position you will be working with a young lady in her late-20s who happens to have a disability but does not allow it to interfere with her love for the outdoors, baking, crafts, reading and travel. Most of the role will consist of domestic duties and social activities.
Main Duties:
Personal duties: care will include support with washing, dressing, and showering.
Domestic duties: Work with me to complete everyday household tasks together. There will be some light cooking, this will mainly consist of meal prep and baking/cooking for fun. Completing fortnightly click and collect shops and undertaking pharmacy trips.
Social Duties: Accompanying me while out and about; whether shopping, socializing, or attending medical appointments such as the GP or physiotherapy. Support to make basic phone calls to arrange medical appointments or sort out prescriptions. Interest in swimming is desirable but not necessary.
Hours of work: 5 hours a week – days & times to be discussed at interview. Preferably Monday, Wednesday and Friday availability.
The ability to provide cover for the alternative personal assistant position is desirable.
Qualifications :
First Aid
Health and Social Care – either NVQ or relevant in job training
Moving and handling
Please note a valid driver’s license is necessary for this position.
