Job purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable & assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer: Our client is a 41-year-old female living in the Stourport on Severn area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with daily living tasks for 15 hours per week. Our client is diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, OCD and Epilepsy and lives with her 3 young children. Due to serious health conditions our client has limited mobility.
- Personal Care: Daily support with all aspects of personal care.
- Domestic duties: Support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen and laundry.
Type of person that you/they are looking for:
- Values: Someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, cheerful, trustworthy and understands equality & diversity or has a good sense of humour.
- Specific requirements: Someone with an understanding of Autism. Previous experience would be preferred. Cats in the home.
- Other: Due to the nature of this role including medical & personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.
Hours of work: 15 hours per week
Rate of pay: £13.01 per hour Employed rate or £15 per hour Self-Employed rate.
