To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:

Our client is a fun loving 13-year-old male living with family in the Ellesmere Port area of Cheshire who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to support with a wide range of activities. The role involves supporting our client to access community activities, build confidence, have fun, and enjoy social experiences in a safe and positive environment.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Type of person that you/they are looking for:

Values: We are looking for someone that is patient, kind, understanding, reliable and trustworthy. Can encourage independence while providing appropriate support. Has a good sense of humour and enjoys being active.

Specific requirements: Previous experience of working with individuals with autism and additional needs.

Hours of work: 6 hours per week term-time & 6 hours per week non-term-time.

Rate of pay: £14 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Car and appropriate insurance
  • Previous care & support work experience
  • Able to swim
  • Good at building relationships
  • Ability to support people with behaviours which challenge.
  • Experience of working with individuals who have Autism.

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
