Job purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer: Our client is a 6-year-old boy living in Chester with his parents. Our client is a happy, friendly young boy who has a learning disability and global developmental delay. He also has epilepsy and requires support appropriate to his individual needs and development.
- Supporting our client during outings and community activities
- Engaging in sensory play and activities to support client’s development and learning
- Providing constant supervision due to the risk of drop attacks/seizures, which are brief but may cause injury
- Always supporting client’s safety and wellbeing
- Personal care: Support with personal care when required. These duties may vary from day-to-day.

- Previous care & support experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of working with children with additional needs
- Experience & knowledge of Epilepsy & Seizures
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
