About the employer: Our client is a 36-year-old female living in Broomhouse, Edinburgh who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with all daily living tasks. Our client is a full-time wheelchair and hoist user with several different health conditions which requires our client to have 24-hour care & support.
- Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
- Attend medical appointments
- Personal care: Support with all personal care, support with all medication and urostomy care.
- Domestic duties: Support with preparing, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks. These duties may vary from day-to-day.
Values: We are looking for someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, has the ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, is flexible, adaptable, easy-going, able to work alone, positive, has a willingness to travel and understands equality and diversity.
Specific requirements: Someone with care experience would be preferred. EpiPen & First Aid training preferred but training can be provided.
Other: Due to the nature of this role including personal care, the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.
Hours of work: 6 hours + 18 night-time hours - days to be discussed at interview.
Rate of pay: £15.72 per hour + £13.07 per hour during the night.

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References. This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
