Barrhead Travel, The Holiday and Tailor-Made Travel Specialists are expanding and we are delighted to announce that we are now have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Trainer to join our amazing team.

Reporting to the Group Head of People Development, you will play a vital role in delivering our learning and development material to an excellent standard to our people, ensuring our new and existing workforce is developed and up skilled to company expectations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate trainer to be part of a fun and exciting team within the UKs leading Travel Agency.

Requirements

Job Description:

· Deliver all aspects of our training program and prepare learning and development plans

· Develop and oversee the production/updating of training handouts, instructional materials and visual aids.

· Direct structured learning experiences and monitor the results

· Acclimate new hires to the business

· Deliver training courses, in particular our on-boarding induction.

· Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of skills and techniques into employees work behaviour and performance

· Periodically evaluate ongoing training programs to ensure that they reflect any changes

· Stay up-to-date with any new trends and tools – paying particular attention to e-learning solutions

· During peak trading times, provide training support in the field to our sales network across the UK

Experience and skills required:

· Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques

· Ability to provide feedback on a weekly/daily basis

· Sound decision making and organisational skills

· Ability to work on your own or as part of the team

· Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

· Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint

· Comfortable presenting to large groups in person and online
