We are looking to recruit a weekend receptionist to join our busy BMW retailer in Canterbury. You will be responsible for welcoming both service and sales customers in a professional and friendly manner, operating the busy switchboard and undertaking general administration duties in line with the company and manufacturer guidelines.

The successful candidate will be confident, smart and efficient with strong customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. Ideally you will already have experience of working in a busy front of house environment with a knowledge of switchboard systems. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be computer literate, and you will need to be highly competent in MS Office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling telephone enquiries with professionalism, establishing the customer's needs to ensure they are directed to the correct department/team member the first time.
  • Review the receipt of sales enquiries through the lead management system and circulate evenly to Sales Executives.
  • Providing refreshments and introducing the customer to the appropriate department or member of staff.
  • To maintain the reception area in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
  • Welcome pack & company induction.
  • Discounted servicing & parts across the Group.
  • Annual staff social events.
  • Barretts Summer Ball (held every 2 years).
  • State of art working environment.

Your standard hours of work will be 8:00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays, plus some Bank Holidays. There may also be the opportunity for you to work additional hours to cover annual leave, training, and other staff absences.
