Service Technician Apprenticeship, Land Rover, Canterbury
We are currently recruiting for a new Service Technician Apprentice to join our Aftersales Workshop in Canterbury. You will be enrolled on a Jaguar Land Rover Apprentice Scheme for 3 years & during this time you will learn & work on vehicles, carry out servicing, maintenance & repair work on the prestige models of Jaguar Land Rovers.
This is an excellent opportunity for any young persons with a passion for the motor trade and, in particular, an interest in the technical aspects of vehicle repairs to join the exciting and expanding Jaguar Land Rover brands.
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive –
· Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle).
· Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling (EC842-2006).
· JLR specific certifications.
This apprenticeship will have a strong focus on the retail environment and the high customer service expectations of our customers.
You would attend the JLR Academy for training at regular intervals throughout the year and you would be supported by various mentors along the way.
The successful candidates will have the energy and enthusiasm to learn new skills, both academic and practical. You must be self-motivated and able to work well within a team environment.
To join the programme, applicants must possess or demonstrate that they’re predicted the following GCSE level (or equivalent) grades and that they are aged 16 or over for the technical role (17 or over for the commercial roles).
· Four GCSE grades A – C (new grades 9 – 4) or equivalent in English, Maths and two other subjects.
