Barretts BMW/MINI have an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our expanding Aftersales Department in Ashford, Kent. You will be representing one of the motor industry's most iconic brands at an exciting time as they lead the way in luxury and innovation. The successful applicant will be able to extend an exceptional level of customer service and deliver a 'Customer First' experience. You must have excellent communication skills, be well organised and be able to remain calm under pressure. Experience in the role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Role of a Service Advisor
- Providing care and updates to customers whilst their vehicles are in for service & repairs.
- Providing estimates, booking and scheduling service/repair work.
- Ensure customers are fully informed of all available extras, accessories, and products.
- Be a main point of contact and offer support and guidance to customers when required.
- Be an ambassador for the Brand & its products.
- Utilising digital solutions such as the My BMW/My MINI App and the use of an iPad.
Requirements
- Previous/current customer service experience within the motor industry.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Upselling experience as well as being comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain customer service levels whilst meeting deadlines.
- A Full Clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
You would be required to work a 45‑hour week. Working hours would be 07:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday with a 1‑hour lunch break & a 1 in 5 pro rata on a Saturday, 8:00 – 13:00.
