All About the Role
This is an interesting new role, you will be given the training necessary to carry out your role, including mentoring by a strong, established sales team to develop business within our existing customer base whilst also seeking new opportunities. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm.
Specific tasks could include:
- Answering incoming calls, fielding customer enquiries to the appropriate person.
- Help to develop new business with an emphasis on cold calling, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
- Checking stock availability and raising quotations.
- Following up on sales quotes and maintaining client records.
- Responding to non-sales queries such as order progression updates, transport queries, etc.
- Contact customers to obtain missing information and respond to queries.
- Raise sales orders in the system and liaise with operations/transport and sales to ensure smooth order progression through processing and delivery.
