All About the Role
Based at our Maghaberry site, we have a role available for a General Operative. The purpose of these roles is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide excellent customer service whilst operating within a safe working environment and ensuring legal compliance to all Health & Safety standards.
Specific tasks could include:
- Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Handle steel.
- Transferring stock to its location using Forklift trucks and cranes.
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.

- The successful candidate will have experience as a warehouse/yard operative.

- Fork-Lift and Side-loader is desirable but not essential.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Driving Licence preferred.
