The predicted salary is between 24000 - 33600 £ per year.
Based at our Barrett Engineering Steel Willenhall Site, we are looking for a passionate and committed Warehouse Operative to be part of our skilled and dedicated work force. The shifts will be rotational Monday to Friday6 am to 2.00pm then Monday to Friday then Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm.
Specific tasks include:
- Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Transferring stock, operate saws, overhead cranes, fork lifts, side loaders and side trackers after full training
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
- Any ad hoc duties as required

- The successful candidate will ideally already have experience as a warehouse operative
- You should be used to working safely, adhering to all health and safety procedures

- Ideally you will be able to use mobile equipment (FLT, overhead crane)
- The ability to read written instructions & record accurately work carried out
- A full UK driving license.
