Based at our Barrett Engineering Steel Willenhall Site, we are looking for a passionate and committed Warehouse Operative to be part of our skilled and dedicated work force. The shift pattern is rotational: Monday to Friday 6am‑2pm and Monday to Friday 2pm‑10pm.
Specific Tasks Include:
- Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own
- Transfer stock and operate saws, overhead cranes, lift trucks, side loaders and side trackers after full training
- Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
- Perform any ad hoc duties as required
