Based at our Maghaberry site, we have a role available for a General Operative. The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll provide excellent customer service whilst operating within a safe working environment and ensuring legal compliance with all Health & Safety standards.

The hours of work are rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6 am to 2 pm, then Monday to Friday 1 pm to 9 pm.

Specific Tasks
  • Pick computer‑generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
  • Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Handle steel.
  • Transfer stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes.
  • Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
  • Maintain high levels of Health & Safety.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.

Essential Skills for the Role
  • Experience as a warehouse/yard operative.
  • A flexible attitude, results orientation, and enjoyment of working in a team environment.
  • Fork‑lift and side‑loader experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Driving licence preferred.
