We are looking for a Trainee CAD Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity to become part of an integral team operating in a high volume, fast paced environment. This role is not a design role; itβs an end-to-end customer focused delivery opportunity, balancing between interpreting, creating & producing digital drawings & 3D models from the customers' specifications & requirements to aid in the programming of our profiling machines. We are looking for the right individual to help drive the company forward and be part of this exciting time for the business.
Specific tasks could include:
- Programming for profiling machines such as lasers & saws
- Producing digital drawings & 3D models from the customers' specifications & requirements
- Minimising waste & scrap per program
- Responsible for machine workload
- Working with operators to achieve overall Equipment Effectiveness
- Customer liaison on a daily basis
- Liaising with all internal departments
