All About The Role
The purpose of this role is to carry out multi‑drop driving and related duties involved with the carriage of goods. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours plus overtime.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
- Ensure Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned promptly
- Check load security and weight distribution according to safe‑working practices at the start and end of each shift
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to company standards and report any defects
- Perform daily checks to confirm vehicles are in safe condition and are operated safely
- Uphold all health and safety standards at site, on the road, and at customer premises
- Serve as an ambassador for high‑quality customer service

Essential Skills for the role
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (no more than 6 points)
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Knowledge of Working Time Directive
- Previous experience in a warehousing or distribution business, ideally multi‑drop
- Understanding and experience of EHS requirements
