Based at our Bristol site, we have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative. The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. The hours will be: 14:00 – 22:00, Monday to Friday.
Specific tasks could include:
- Pick computer generated orders with handling of heavy and large items
- Loading, cutting, and offloading of steel
- Ensure all documentation is correctly actioned for accuracy of stock
- Transferring stock to its location using Forklift trucks and crane
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders
- Keep work area clean and tidy maintain high levels of Health and Safety
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
- Operate machinery (only when trained to do so)

Essential Skills for the role:
- Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment
- Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader but not essential as training will be given
- Health & Safety awareness able to work safely to procedures
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Understand process notes
- Able to use measuring equipment
- Used to working to deadlines
- Driving License
