All About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to work with the BI team. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the role will be heavily involved in the development of the new ERP software (Epicor) as well as more widely in current projects across the business. This is a hybrid and flexible work environment only 2-3 days in the office based in Bradford, remaining days working remotely. It is a perfect role for a graduate or a junior analyst with the right skill set and attitude who is enthusiastic to build their career in analytics and data.
Specific tasks include:
- Proactively and collaboratively support the BI team to develop Analysis and Insight for Business Operations
- Apply analytical and technical ability to ensure the team delivers the highest standards of analysis and reporting to key stakeholders
- Be the go-to person for Tableau users in terms of account creation, access and permission management, documentation, handling queries and new user trainings
- Manage change requests and deliver ad-hoc reports to the key stakeholders
- Identify, quantify, and prioritise opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and produce quality deliverables to drive continuous improvement
- Support BI team during data migration project and ERP implementation
- Report making to help deliver optimal management decisions
- Develop and improve your analytical skills and develop new technical skills on some of the leading analytical tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Epicor

Essential Skills for the role:
- Numeric based degree i.e., Maths, Economics, Business, Physics etc, or 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office product suite, particularly Excel i.e., Pivot Tables and V-Lookups, other advanced Excel functionality
- Clear, logical analytical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to investigate data, find trends and issues, provide insightful recommendations
- Strong communication skills and ability to present information to key stakeholders both verbally and via email
- Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx and an understanding of SQL is desirable.
