We’re looking for a National Account Manager to join our team. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for leading and growing our key customer accounts such as B&M and Home Bargains, developing and executing strategic plans that align with both our business objectives and our customers' needs. We're looking for someone with a strong commercial understanding who can effectively manage accounts and deliver sustainable growth. You'll be the face of AG Barr for your designated portfolio, cultivating key relationships and driving the performance of your accounts. Join us and help shape the future of our partnerships!

As our Value Retail National Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Account Management: Lead key relationships to deliver accelerated growth within the account, taking ownership of the P&L for your area, including: leading JBP negotiations, proposing and managing promotions and spend, forecasting and reporting accurately internally through the monthly cycle. Take full ownership of the account, leading the JBP, managing key buyer relationships, managing promotional activities, forecasting, and working collaboratively with key internal and external teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Commercial Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of your P&L and how to drive profitable, sustainable growth within the account, to deliver against the growth objectives for the business.
  • Forecasting & Data Management: Own the process for weekly, period, and annual forecasting, using multiple data sources to generate accurate and actionable forecasts. Build comprehensive joint business plans with our Discount customers, in collaboration with the Business Unit Controller and other account managers, to leverage strategic partnership and land drive key business objectives.
  • Building Customer Influence: Training & Development: Proactively manage personal and team development, ensuring competencies align with commercial goals. Provide leadership and guidance, developing skills through performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring to cultivate future leaders within the business.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: Build strong relationships internally with the cross-functional team (shopper, category, digital, supply chain, category etc) and externally with key external stakeholders.

Experience in account management within an FMCG environment.

Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and business development.

Strong IT skills, including proficiency with CRM, forecasting tools, and Google Office.
