Our Finance teams don’t just process numbers; they collect vital information which informs decisions and drives our business. As such, they are at the heart of our commerciality. Reporting to the Accountant, you will support the Finance team in ensuring the monthly management accounts are completed to meet required deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist and ensure accurate and timely payments and accounts are appropriately serviced
- Own & reconcile the bank account/ cash book, including writing and banking cheques
- Maintenance & reconciliation of petty cash
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
- Salary inputs: expenses, mileage and commissions
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial transactions
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Returns
- Ensure accurate accounting for VAT, subcontractors tax and CITB payments as appropriate
- Assist in ad hoc projects, tasks and reports as and when required
