The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.
What you’ll be doing? Our apprentice programme is run in partnership with CITB, the Sector Skills Council for construction. It mixes college study with practical on-site training with experienced trade specialists, and a programme that goes well beyond the standard syllabus. Once you’re accepted, you’ll start a four-year structured Advanced Modern Apprenticeship. You’ll learn on the job, and in a locally approved college – so you’ll be earning and learning all the time. At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have a great amount of experience and valuable job skills, plus a technical certificate and nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.
You will be reporting to the Site Manager, you will work towards gaining a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification through on and off the job, trade-specific training. You will be expected to:
- complete the Barratt Training Manual,
- complete site and college work within agreed time limits and standards whilst being consistent at gathering quality work‑based evidence.
- work with colleagues to learn and develop your trade skills safely.
- learn to use and maintain hand tools, portable power tools and equipment, and communicate with colleagues, lecturers and customers politely.
